Last month, we started the year off with Acing the Technical Interview, an insightful session focused on mastering technical questions and structuring clear, compelling responses. This month, we continued to build on those skills with an Interview Workshop designed to refine your technique and boost your confidence. Additionally, we are excited to be hosting our first Speak Soirée! This exciting event is dedicated to networking, making new friends, and …  it’s a chance to dress up!

Breaking News in Communication

Technical interviews can be challenging, but preparation is key. January Recap Event - Acing the Technical Interview with AWM

On January 30th, we partnered with the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) to present Acing the Technical Interview. This engaging session allowed participants to tackle complex technical questions, refine their responses, and gain valuable insights from experts in the field.

February Recap Event - Interview Workshop

On February 26th, our wonderful Operations team hosted an Interview Workshop designed to help participants refine their interview skills and boost their confidence. Attendees learned how to craft strong, articulate responses, navigate common and behavioral questions, and develop strategies to stand out in both job and club interviews.

Through interactive exercises and the guidance of Career Services Officer Afa Awobajo, participants gained valuable insights into effective storytelling, professional presence, and techniques to leave a lasting impression. The turnout was great - thanks to everyone who came!

Coming Up! - Speak Soirée

Our Speak Soirée is coming up MARCH 13TH, from 6:30-8:30PM! 

It’s a chance to dress up (cocktail party style), network, and meet new friends. You can try a quick toast to practice your public speaking if you’d like, play games, get free snacks and drinks, and join the raffle draw for a chance at awesome prizes.
